Abbyssinian long eared owl

Hi my name is Derek Johnson and I am doing my research on owls. My owl is the long eared owl called the Abyssisinian.

They can be found in the Europe and Russia regions. Their climate there is 35F and 13C. They build their nest in open grassland and Moorlands. They eat boiled egg shells. It's predators are snakes, cats and hunters. They need to live in their nest 2-4 months in order to be healthy and can live 2-27 years.

Their facial appearance is a disc like tawny-brown with a blackish brown rim orange and yellow eyes, with a brown beak and long ears.

The female can lay ten eggs at one time. Their babies must stay with their parents 1-3 months. They are endangered and extremely rare.

In conclusion, if you want to hear more about the Abbyssinian Owl you will have to turn your head all the way around and listen.
